National Informatics Centre has developed the application SATH(Sickle Cell, Anaemia,++) as per the requirements shared by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare(MoHFW). The app is developed under National Sickle Cell Aanemia Elimination Mission(NSCAEM) where the beneficiaries are registered and their screening and treatment data is captured for various genetic blood disorders like Sickle Cell, Thalassemia, Haemophilia and Other Variants. The contents published on these Applications were provided by the concerned Ministries/Departments of Government of India or the allied government establishment. This information provided through these applications may not have any legal sanctity and are for general reference only, unless otherwise specified. However, every effort has been made to provide accurate and reliable information through these applications. Users are advised to verify the correctness of the facts published here from the concerned authorities. Neither National Informatics Centre nor Government of India and its allied establishments will not be responsible for the accuracy and correctness of the contents available in these applications.

Permission used by this App:

Internet: - The app uses the internet connection of the user's device to fetch the data from and submit the data to the server.

Camera: -   The app uses camera to capture user image for registration.

Read/Write External Storage: - The app uses the external to access files/documents for accessing contents in media gallery.

User Provided Information:

The Applications may obtain the information you provide when you download and register the Application. The application can be logged in only for registered health facility users. The users of the app registers and enters screening, confirmatory and treatment details of beneficiaries of National Sickle Cell Anaemia Elimination Mission for diseases like Sickle Cell, Thalassemia, Haemophilia and Other Variants.

When you register the beneficiary, you generally provide his/her (a) name, age, mobile number, blood group, gender and other registration information. (b) Provide screening test(POC or Solubility Test) details. (c) Confirmatory Test (HPLC/Electrophoresis) Details. (d) Aadhaar number/VID may be required while creation of ABHA ID if ABHA ID does not exist.(e)ABHA ID may be required and saved.

The information you provided may be used to contact them from time to time to provide them with important information , required notices and egovernace service delivery as per NSCAEM.

We may disclose User provided and Automatically Collected Information:

as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;

when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;

with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

This application is owned by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare(MoHFW). Hence, any data including the user’s cannot be deleted without the approval of MoHFW.In case some policy and guidelines are received from MoHfw in this direction, this privacy policy may be updated. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

Misuse by Non Targeted Users

All mobile apps are meant for use by the targeted audience only. Misuse by non-targeted users should be prevented by owner of the mobile.
